Opel's growth is marked by sustainability and accessibility, two characteristics that serve as the foundation for the new models and innovations that the German automaker introduces from time to time. In addition, a limited collection of values, but fundamentally valid, allows Opel to evaluate elements and quirks that are becoming increasingly important in creating the car's future strategy.

Opel's paradigm is innovation, but it is applied to the world of automobiles with an eye on the environmental cause. Indeed, the concept of sustainability is key to Opel's vision of the automotive industry. Furthermore, according to the democratization model, all-new Opel models enable the use of technology that was previously only accessible on higher-end vehicles, allowing access to a broader and more diverse public sector.

The people are at the core of every Opel project, and there are issues with the objectives of the past. However, the manufacturer aims to push the product closer to greater sustainability levels, summed up in the Greenovation terminology established by the German company.

According to Opel, the idea behind Greenovation has various meanings. To begin, 80 percent of the range given by the German manufacturer's pricing list today contains electrified engines capable of low levels of deliverable emissions. The goal, however, is to consider an utterly electric turning point, employing methods that are effective for preserving the pleasure of driving in the face of a transition such as the electric one, which promises to be highly identifiable.

Then there's the need to raise awareness about using highly recyclable materials to reduce CO2 emissions. In a nutshell, a Greenovation anticipates a group of study fields beneficial for ensuring progressively improved and inventive solutions. According to the German manufacturer, the Opel Mokka-e and Opel Corsa-e currently handle Opel's electric transition, which gives choices formerly reserved primarily for higher segment vehicles, following the benefits associated with zero emissions. Meanwhile, electric variations of each model will be available by 2024, and by 2028 only electric cars will be manufactured by Opel. A rewarding journey that began with the Opel Ampera in 2011 and was completed with the Opel Ampera-e in 2017.
