If you are filming landscapes and real estate with a drone, the third of the horizon is particularly important for you. Depending on where your main motif is, you align it on the third division's upper or lower horizontal line. If your main subject is on the ground, you should align your horizon line with the top line to give your subject more space in the frame. If you want to direct the gaze to the sky or the top third of your image, place the horizon on the bottom line. This way, your viewers will intuitively know later where to look.

To practice the Rule of Thirds, you can display a thirds grid on practically every camera. So you only have to make sure that you place your motif on this grid when shooting the film. With this, you are guaranteed to get a professional look!
