In a recent article on the assault on Paul Pelosi, the husband of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.), CNN’s Jake Tapper criticized a group of “elected leaders” and media figures for encouraging “political violence” and demeaning opponents.

The CNN host provided information about Paul Pelosi’s injury on Friday, October 28, confirming that he had had a skull fracture as a result of a home invasion. Tapper claimed that the lawmaker’s husband had had surgery at a facility in the San Francisco, California, region.
