During peak hours, the average speed is only 8 kilometres per hour, which leads to additional annual costs of about 180 million euros in a year. With the scooter, you can reach a speed much above 8 km / h, and the costs are infinitely lower.

  2. What is the charging time and what is the autonomy

And in this case, it depends on the model you choose, but, in general, the charging time varies from 2 to 5 hours, and in the case of variants for children and teenagers it can be up to 40 minutes. If we were to make a comparison with a smartphone or a tablet, for example, the difference in charging time would not be very large.

In terms of charging range, it can vary between 20 and 45 kilometres, enough to get to the office in a single charge.

  3. What size and weight is it

The dimensions of electric scooters vary. As a guide, you should know that you will find models of 915 x 465 x 21, 106 x 110 x 47, but also 1090 x 1120 x 500. Weight depends on the size, of course, and can be from 11 kilograms to 17 kilograms.

  4. What weight it supports

An electric scooter for adults can easily support high weights of up to 120 kilograms. The handlebars can be adjusted to some models so that they fit perfectly on the user's height and provide a comfortable position.

  5. You can take it with you even on public transport

Most electric scooters are foldable, so they can be taken anywhere, including on public transport. When you go out in the city, you can place it right next to the table, and at the office, you can put it right under the desk, from where you won't even notice it.

  6. Can be used regardless of weather conditions

Even if it is raining or snowing outside, you can use the electric scooter without worries. These scooters are designed with water protection. It is not a means of transport to use only in summer, but you can rely on it all year round.

You do not need a special socket to charge the scooter battery, the classic 220 V, which we all have at home is ideal.

An electric scooter is definitely a means of transportation that you should consider if you are tired of being stuck in traffic jams for tens of minutes. A study conducted by the TomTom company, specialized in the production of navigation systems, showed that Bucharest ranks 6th in the world in terms of congestion on the streets. The same study showed that an average resident in a big city loses 10 days of his life in traffic every year.
